Cranberry Slim-down Bars

Combine:

1 Cup, Wheat flour

1/4 Cup, Soy flour

1 Cup, Uncooked oatmeal

1/2 Cup, Brown sugar

1/2 Teaspoon, Baking soda

Add:

1 Cup, Applesauce

1 Egg

1/2 Teaspoon, Vanilla

Blend:

1/4 Cup, Whole flax-seeds

1 Cup, Dried cranberries

1. Pour and spread into lightly greased 9” x 13” pan and bake at 350 deg for 20-25 min.

2. Cool and cut into 18 bars.

 

Option: For a No-sugar bar, substitue 1-1/2 teasp. White Stevia powder for the 1/2 cup brown sugar. 55 calories per bar.

 

Note: This bar contains no salt, no fat, no dairy and with Stevia, no sugar.

 

Stevia and flax seed are available in health food section of Fred Meyers or Nature’s.
