2006

This year was a bad year for the bees & fruit trees.  February had warmed up & then the weather stayed very cold.  During this cold spell many of the bees lost their energy and died.  A few survilvalists emerged (in May) after the fruit trees had finished blooming.  However, there were enough blossoms from other sources to provide the bees with enough nourishment to keep going until July.
