This year was another busy one. The interest in Mason bees is ever increasing. I’ve expanded presentations for the Backyard Bird shops with the Portland side now taking an active interest. Because there were so many people interested we offered second classes in Clackamas and Fisher’s Landing. I now have a special presentation geared for children. The Fisher’s Landing elementary school had 100 children, split in two sessions of 50 each.
My book “Mason Bees for the Backyard Gardener” has been turned in to Inkwater Press for self publication. It was finalized the end of December and will be going to press in January 2010.
